Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers
Brazetek Shell & Tube heat exchangers are available in two series. ST series are 316L stainless steel shell and tube heat exchangers. STX series are titanium shell & tube heat exchangers. Both types are fully-welded and can be utilized in a variety of applications. Titanium heat exchangers are commonly used in marine applications such as salt water or others where corrosive liquids are present. Large connection ports are particularly useful for projects requiring high flow rates and low pressure drop. Brazetek shell and tube heat exchangers are available in 1-side shell outlets or 2-sides shell outlets versions and most models are supplied with a set of mounting brackets for ground installation. Variety of inlet/outlet sizes is available. Brazetek ST series is most commonly used as hot tub or swimming pool heat exchangers, often in combination with an outdoor wood boiler, but are also typical for projects such as snow melting, solar heating, oil cooling, heat recovery and many others. STX series heat exchangers can be used with salt water or other projects where superior corrosion resistance is required.
Finned Coil Water to Air Heat Exchangers
Brazetek offers a broad selection of finned coil heat exchangers, also known as “water to air heat exchangers”, due to their popularity in forced air heating and cooling applications. These units are suitable for a large number of projects including water to air and air to water heat transfer uses, such as outdoor wood furnaces, boilers, stoves, residential and light commercial forced air heating and cooling applications, as well as liquid chilling applications and many others.

4 x 12 inch (1 inch MPT connections) Stainless Steel Copper Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers
The 4x12 size brazed plate heat exchangers are primarily designed for medium size hydronic and radiant heating applications, snowmelt systems (glycol), domestic hot water heating, outdoor wood boiler applications, and other uses where an efficient, reliable and compact liquid-to-liquid heat exchanger is required. Models available with 10 to 70 plates.
5 x 12 inch (1-1/4 inch MPT connections) Stainless Steel Copper Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers
For larger size hydronic heating projects, radiant heating, indoor and outdoor wood boilers, larger snow melting systems, domestic hot water heating and other applications that require higher flow rates and high efficiency ratios, a 5x12 brazed plate heat exchanger is the optimal choice. Available in 50, 60, 70 & 80-plate models.
10" x 20" (1-1/2" or 2" MPT connections) Stainless Steel Copper Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers10x20 models by Brazetek are among the largest brazed plate heat exchangers available on the market today. Featuring 1-1/2” and 2” MNPT connections, these units are available in size ranging from 10-plates to 100-plates. Compact, yet highly efficient, 10x20 models are capable of replacing bulky and outdated shell & tube heat exchangers and are most common for very large residential, and medium-size commercial and industrial applications.
Cast Bronze Y-Strainers
A Y-strainer is commonly installed on or near the inlet connection(s) of the heat exchanger to extend it's life, prevent fouling and reduce maintenance. Brazedtek offers most common sizes of Y-strainers - 3/4", 1" and 1-1/4" (NPT) to fit with all heat exchanger models. The y-strainers are heavy-duty cast bronze and are made by Matco-Norca. Cleanout plug inlcuded, 18 mesh stainless steel screen standard on all models. 300 psi WOG (non-shock), 150 psi SWP. Threaded connections comply with ANSI B2.1.
