Y-Strainers - Cast Bronze and Brass
A Y-strainer is commonly installed on or near the inlet connection(s) of the heat exchanger to extend it's life, prevent fouling and reduce maintenance. Brazetek offers most common sizes of Y-strainers - 3/4", 1" and 1-1/4" (FNPT) to fit with all heat exchanger models. Clean-out plug included, 18 mesh stainless steel screen standard on all models. Pressure Ratings: 200 psi Non-Shock WOG. Threaded connections comply with ANSI B2.1.
